Lanxess Opens its First Production Facility in Russia

Lanxess has opened a production facility in Russia under Rhein Chemie. The subsidiary company creates polymer-bound rubber additives for the Russian market. The products that they make are mainly used in the automotive and tire industries. Lanxess claims that they invested a seven-digit figure into their new facility. Puchov Plant Will Receive €100 Million Investment from Continental

Continental is to expand annual production capacity of its truck and bus tire plant in Puchov (Slovakia).  The capacity will increase from around 2.6 million tires to over 3 million over the next couple of years.
