As domestic investments plummet, China’s machinery makers are seeking new markets overseas. Since the beginning of 2014, the industry has seen no growth, and in the first half of 2015, the industry experienced double-digit declines in revenue and profits, according to Zhang Hongbo (张洪波 ) of the China Chemical Equipment Association Rubber Machinery Professional Committee.
