Cooper launches two tires for China market

Cooper Tire Asia has introduced two tyres aimed at sports utility vehicle (SUV) for the Chinese market. Both products were developed by Cooper’s Asian Technical Centre in Kunshan, about an hour’s drive north of Shanghai. Both products will be made available in China during 2016 The first of these, is the Mastercraft Courser Sport 100.

Tire shares rise in India on hopes of import barriers

Reuters reports that Indian tire stocks jumped on Tuesday on market expectations that the Indian government may impose minimum prices for tire imports or announce an outright ban on inbound shipments.
